I have released version 9.6 of the DX4WIN Data Updater:
https://ad1c.us/dx4win/updater/
This is for users of DX4WIN 8.05 and earlier only. Here are the release notes:
9.6 - 24 June 2022
Bug fix: after an Update, the IOTA check-box became enabled
Bug fix: location of some data files changed in early 2022
Use secure HTTPS for Club Log (not compatible with Windows XP)
Write DX4WIN version to log file
Compiled with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019
It has been a long time since I updated this program. I don't know if
anyone still uses it. Earlier this year, I rewrote significant
portions of my website, and this broke several of the download links
in the Updater program. Because no one reported any problems to me,
I assumed that no one was using the Updater program.
So the big question is why did I release an update to a program that
no one uses? For those who may not know, I update the following four
data files for DX4WIN 9.x each Saturday morning (local time). Note
that they won't be available as DX4WIN 9.x updates until Paul changes
them on the DX4WIN server:
- Calendar
- Master Callsigns
- Membership List
- DX Cluster nodes
I use this same Updater program (in a special mode) to generate these
weekly updates. I plan to enhance the OQRS (on-line QSL request
service) listing in the membership list. However, in the process of
starting to do that, I discovered some unreleased updates. I thought
it would be better to release those updates, then work on the
enhancements from a clean base.
I don't know when the OQRS enhancements will appear, but it definitely
won't be in time for this weekend's updates. I'll send an update
after I have made the changes.
If you have any problems with the Updater, first consult the instructions here:

If you can't find the answer, then let me know.
