[Dx4win] Packet Connection

Hello Jim,

Thank you.  K2CAN and AB5E both work; couldn't find W0MU.  Now here is what I did after my previous post.

I feared that my original configuration file became corrupted.  So I removed C:\dx4w903 and downloaded a fresh install.
Then I dropped my license into the dx4w folder, my log files into the Save folder, and manually reconstructed the configuration file from scratch.
Then I saved and then loaded the new configuration file and launched the program, opened and arranged the windows, then opened the band map.  Success!  With this I followed your directions and am online with AB5E.

I still don't know why I can connect to K5TX using N1MM and not DX4W.  But all works as it should, posts appear in the band map and my radio follows when a post is clicked.  I am not about to quarrel with success nor question how or why.

Don't select Local Host.

The list has many bad entries (nodes that no longer exist).

Try W0MU, K2CAN and/or AB5E.  I know they work, I am connected to them now.
