Hi Steve,
Probably your config.dat is corrupted, I would suggest that you delete or at
least rename this file in your dx4win/save directory
The message about the lpt ports means that you didn't install this driver,
the name is what it is but the driver is also needed for serial
Communications (cat etc) this driver can be found in your dx4win/drivers
directory. Install this and reboot PC.
After that start DX4WIN, It will start like a brand new installed dx4win
version.
All your settings will be lost but you can import your previous settings if
you wrote the configuration under file|preferences|file

Program working fine through this morning.


Shutdown, came back around 6pm eastern time


saw some nonsense about not having LPT ports

program opens funky and my working file gets this NOT A DX4WIN LOGFILE


tried opening another file, only get about 1/10 of the contacts


uninstalled, reinstalled  NADA
