Hi John,
I downloaded and evaluated the latest version of Win4K3 a couple of
weeks ago. I'm guessing it would function the same with the Yaesu suite.
You have to use a com port emulator like com0com that will establish the
com ports you need then you can configure those in the Win4 software for
the specific 3rd party software communication with Win4. I established
one com port pair dedicated to DX4Win in the software and it controlled
DX4Win just fine for me, no issues.
Your mileage may vary but those are my results. You can download the
Win4 software and try it for 30 days before having to purchase it so I
would recommend you give that a try. Also if you have any questions (I
had one) Tom, VA2FSQ, the software author was responsive very quickly
and answered my question.
