[Dx4win] upload to LoTW problem from DX4WIN

Dick KS0M, you're right, the Export to LoTW function in v. 9.01 doesn't work
properly.

Option 1

 

1.    Serch QSO for export ( F8)

next.

2.    Menu LoTW

3.    Export to LoTW

4.    start window Import/Export filtres (unable to select export)
5.    start window Select the Adif file to write to
 Click on Save
6.    Start window Information
      Filter active, use it for export?)
Click on Yes
7.    Start window Information
     (Export finished
      No QSOs were wriitten)
 
The exported adif file is empty
 
 
 
Option 2 (I use this option)
 
I export 424 QSOs to adif to LoTW
 

1.    Serch QSO for export ( F8)

next.

2.    Maiun MENU
File
Import/Export
3.    start window Import/Export filtres
click on ADIF
            File, 
            Export
4.    start window Save as
Click on Save
5.    Start window Information
      Filter active, use it for export?)
Click on Yes
6.    Start window Information
     (Export finished
       424 QSOs were written) 
 
 
The file so exported contains 424 QSOs
 
Then, using the TQSL program, I export to LoTW.
 
A request to Paul KK4HD to correct the error in option 1,
step 4, to automatically select EXPORT

You don't have a "problem", you are just not going far enough in the
process.  The DX4WIN "Export to LOTW" does not actually export the file to
Logbook of the World.  All it does is create an .ADIF file on your computer.
 
That .ADIF file must then be authenticated using the TQSL program with your
certificate and THAT does the actual upload to LOTW.
 
So, if you are fortunate enough to still have those .ADIF files in your
Documents, then authenticate them one by one with TQSL and correctly upload
to LOTW.

Subject: [Dx4win] upload to LoTW problem from DX4WIN
 
Back in June 2019 I started playing with WSJT FT8 using DX4WIN to up load my
QSO files to Lo Today I have discovered ARRL LoTW does not have 498 contacts
I thought were uploaded between 29-06-2019 through 14-08-2019.
I think I missed something in DX4W that caused this. Here is what I  did:
Open  DX4WIN - LoTW at top of page Left click it - Drop down box , click on
"Export to LoTW" . I used an ADIF file in Documents each time when asked for
a file. I put the ADIF file from WSJT FT8 into Documents. Don't remember how
I previously uploaded a file.
Any help ?
