Tonno, Dave, k0esq is the originator of the driver that I sent you, so, his new file should be an updated version of what I sent you. I suspect it will work better…

Excellent, absolutely great! Works like a charm, thank you and K8ESQ who also sent me the new file.

The key was using ZZMD00. I was so close as I tried with one zero not knowing what those zeros are for:)

There are some minor differences in the files of K0EOO and K8ESQ. Not sure if they matter:

[RC-Read S meter]
CSTR=ZZSM;

vs

[RC-Read S meter]
CSTR=SM0;

*

[RC-Set Split off]
CSTR=ZZSW0;

vs

[RC-Set Split off]
CSTR=FR0;FT0;

*

[RC-Set Split on]
CSTR=ZZSW1;

vs

[RC-Set Split on]
CSTR=FR0;FT1;

*

[RF-S meter]
CMD=Read S meter
FMT=String
POS=5
LM=3

vs

[RF-S meter]
CMD=Read S meter
FMT=String
POS=4
LM=4

If anyone can say which versions are better would be nice to hear.

Tonno, try this Radio driver, Flexradio6000 1,  with DX4WIN.  Put the attached file in your RADIO folder in the main DX4WIN folder and then select it in your preferences in DX4WIN.

I hope Paul will add this Radio driver to the next DX4WIN update.  I have been using it for almost a year now and it works much better than the existing FlexradioSSDR driver.

This new driver fixes the QSX, RTTY and many other problems the original driver had.

Subject: [Dx4win] how to Set RTTY mode on Flex?

hi,

I have Flex CAT set via FlexradioSSDR over virtual COM port created in SmartSDR CAT. Everything else works great but when clicking on a RTTY spot in DX4WIN the mode on Flex is set to DIGL not RTTY.

I know the MD command nr 6 sets DIGL. I think it has remained from older times when Flex used DIGL for RTTY. How now to make DX4WIN set correct mode RTTY?

In Win-Test there is workaround through Omnirig which lets to select ZZMD30 command for correctly setting mode to RTTY. But no Omnirig in DX4WIN.

Any ideas how to solve this??
