[Dx4win] Check For Updates Won't Run

XP is not the problem as the v9 updater worked before several times. And I can get to the .inf file opened with Firefox

What operating system?  My computer runs XP professional, Ver 2002, SP3

Have you tried rebooting your computer?  YES,
