[Dx4win] Age of packet spots

Under file/preferences/packet1 there is a field for age of packet spots.
I put 15 minutes in the field but packet spots in the packet window never go away unless I manually right click and delete packet spots older than 15 minutes.
Am I missing something?  Seems they should automatically go away after 15 minutes...???
