Ernie,

This may or not respond to your question. I save my log to OneDrive in the
cloud, which allows my four separate computers at three different locations
to access and sync to the same master logfile. Works great in Version 8.05
and in the new Version 9.01.

This is probably a unique problem with my setup but.... Does anyone else
using version 9 access their (call).dxl log file on a network drive and
verified that it works?

I have my log on a network server to allow using two operating positions in
different rooms. This setup worked in version 8. Now V9 can't find or see
the network drive in the 'open' log dialog window.

Using Win 10 on all machines.

It works under OneDrive. I didn't try to save, still no key.

I don't use a network drive for running a log, but I do use one for a
backup. When I tried opening a log from this network drive (set up as
z:), version 9.01 did not see it. Then I tried in 8.05 and it was there.
Here's the weird part, though: I closed 8.05, opened 9.01 again and at
that time, the z: drive appeared in the pop-down list and all dxl files
were accessible.

Kostas i confirm the problem. IC7300 seems works ok.
But in the dx4win frequency window there are erratic values. In any case i
can point and click on the band map and the radio QSY correctly.
Problems are with the IC7600, radio nr 1 for my setup.
I click and it is changed only the mode.
If i click on the band map, the red arrow on the left hand side of the map
remain where is the mouse pointer until i release the mouse button. Then it
returns on the previous frequency. As i said, mode is changed correctly.
If i move the frequency with the vfo knob, dx4win read correctly the
frequency.
Problemi s only for the point and click.
In the dxspot window if i click on a dx that is in snother band, the 7600
change mode only but not fequency/band.
Dx4win 8.05 as worked without the minimum problem since day one with my
7600 (and the same with ts2000 ecc ecc)
Something may be happen!

I believe there are not changes in code on cat control. Only Paul can say
if these are the same files from Jim's site or new ones, so it is possible
to have bugs. I assume you use files from Jim's site for these radios.
don't you? Also please confirm that you have the same settings in both
versions for the 2 radios? Anyone else who has tried Icoms 7300 or 7600?

Earlier this year, I tried putting my log in DropBox. I had weird
problems as a result of that. DX4WIN could not see the log file
sometimes, even though Windows saw it.

However, using a local network drive should be OK, though it will
probably be a bit slower than when using a drive inside the computer.
