Thanks for the advice.....

For some reason I had "lost" the ports icon and drivers in the device manager. Windows wasn’t recognizing ANY ports. Why, I have NO idea?

Closed out all programs, shutdown computer, disconnected USB cable. Restarted and reconnected USB cable. ("Ports" icon and driver files reappeared in device manager).

Followed your advice on changing radio selection  (using Icom 7800) and address change.

Now able to control radio with computer.

Thanks also to N9AW and K2RD for their input.

In your Preferences, Radio1 Tab, choose one of the IC-7800 radios.  In the Address field, change 6A to 8E
