Hello Doyle,
Try exporting your v5.03 file and importing it into version 9:
In version 5.03:
File > Import/Export > Import/Export Filters
Export as the latest version of dx4win (probably version 5)
This gives you a .DXQ file.
In version 9.03:
Make a new log file (it will be blank) N4VV
File > Import/Export > Import/Export Filters
Select: DX4WIN4 I/E DX4WIN Version 4.06 & later
Import your .DXQ file from version 5.03
This should work.

Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN9
GE,
I have been using DX4WIN version 5.03 since 2000 & thought it was
time to upgrade to version 9. After installing the DX4WIN9 DEMO I
copied my N4VV.DXL log from 5.03 & pasted into 9.02 save file. I
opened the saved file, but most of the data was wrong, wrong band, wrong
mode (only CW & RTTY, no SSB). No problem getting the cluster & radio
connected. I was able to import an ADIF file which worked.
Any ideas, I would like to upgrade, just want to make sure it works.
Thanks,
Doyle/N4VV
