Thank you, Dusty.

That was the cause.

Hi Mark,
I had the same problem with my Orion controller. Simple fix for me was -
Click on Rotator - Parameters - go to each band and click it and change the
"disabled" to "Normal". I think I had to click the OK for each band as I
went through the process. Good Luck

Subject: [Dx4win] Rotator issue

DX4WIN Ver. 9 does not control my Yaesu rotator (with Idiom Press RS-232
board). Version 8 controlled the rotator properly.

Another rotator control program (PstRotatorAz) continues to control the
rotator. That is when DX4WIN is shut down to free the COM port. Apparently
DX4WIN seizes the COM port.

The DX4WIN Ver. 9 rotator settings in Preferences-Control are the same as
when I used DX4WIN Ver. 8.

>From the above analysis, my guess is that the computer, COM port interface &
the rotator are all functioning correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Any suggestions for a fix?

Tnx & 73,

Mark, K6FG
