You must have DX4WIN V9 to have the FT8 mode included.  Which version do you have?  There is a work around for V8:

Set those QSOs to an unused mode like "TOR" and then update TQSL settings to convert TOR to FT8 upon upload to LoTW - OR - edit the ADIF from TOR to FT8 before upload.  Note if you use another mode and edit the ADIF that the length of the MODE field is 3 when FT8 is used.  Later when you upgrade, you can convert all 'TOR' QSOs easily to 'FT8'.
