Yes, that’s the “exception” to the country list that I was describing. It is callsign, date, and country specific. If the exception is lost, so is the unique mapping for that QSO.

I believe this is QSO / Country specific, not a overall change to country mapping for country prefixes

But, if I remember correctly, that will change the country in the log only until he downloads the next country file which, if it's not corrected in there, could wipe out his exception. I could be outdated in my information, but used to be you had to "Merge" the files to keep exceptions. I know Jim has worked hard to clean all of those up and have them in the countries file, but you might check with him to see if the date you worked them is mapped to the correct country designation.

open the QSO you want to change in the QSO window, then hover over the 'country prefix', and then hit 'F1" on the key board, that brings up the country pick list, you should be able to choose the country for this qso.

For some time I have been trying to have 4O5W, worked on 20 May, 2007, mapped to Serbia, from where it was actually located at the time, instead of Montenegro, which DX4Win stubbornly insists on doing.
I have tried, several times, to fix this within DX4Win but very obviously I have not being making the correct moves.
Could someone please guide me (and it would appear, given my track record on this issue, in some detail) to how this is done - once and for all time.
Thanks for any help received.
