[Dx4win] RESOLVED - DX4WIN DATA UPDATER INSTALLATION PROBLEM

Happy to report problem solved..

 

In short, my problem was having DX4WIN installed under C:\Program Files
(x86).

 

Installing in the root of the C drive (C:\DX4W707) solved the problem.

 

I did not know Windows Vista and later versions (I have Windows 10) put lots
of protections on the files in this directory tree (thanks AD1C).

 

Have now upgraded to V8.05 and all is good J
