Also if spots are sorted by time, then newer spots on the same
frequency will replace older spots.  If you sort spots by arrival
instead, you should see them all.  Right-click on the DX spots window
and look for Sort in the menu.

I prefer to have non-desired spots grayed-out rather than ignored.  As
Mike W0VTT pointed out, this is controlled by the Packet1 tab of your
preferences.  Look at the lower-left hand corner under Options.
