Hi Jim (and all),
I got a number of suggestions both here and privately, thanks to everyone.
To summarize: For #2, I did adjust the rig file myself, and I'll be
happy to pass it on to anyone who is interested.
And as Jim suggests, so far everything I've seen seems to indicate that
I still need an extra COM port for keying (which I have). I'd been using
a "first generation" (I think) Rigblaster Plus with the audio being fed
from the sound card as well as handling CW and PTT (for AFSK, PSK31,
etc.) It looks like this cable
http://www.westmountainradio.com/product_info.php?products_id=icom_aufsk_cbl
might do the trick, using TxD to for FSK RTTY, and I should still be
able to use everything else. Right now, for keying, I've got a
connection between the keying output of the Rigblaster and the Key input
on the back of the radio. What I need to figure out is how that cable
will facilitate CW keying, since I can't figure out how they'd key CW
just using the ACC plug.
In any case, at this point, it looks this is more of a general Icom 7600
issue than a DX4WIN thing, so I'll move this this to the appropriate group.
Thanks again to all.
