A "Station Location" defines a QTH and, usually, an associated callsign.
Think of it like a QSL card, as it has all of the details of your station -
callsign, state, county, gridsquare, etc. Just like what gets printed on
your QSLs. So...

Yes. You are erasing the callsign on your "Ohio" QSL card (Station
Location) and adding a different one. When you go to use that Station
Location again, the new callsign is now attached.

The way many people do this is to have a callsign attached to the station
location name. "Ohio - W8DN" and so forth.
Perhaps we should consider changing the name of a "Station Location" to
"QSL Card". That could eliminate the jargon and make it easier to use.
