I only use the Pegasus radio interface program. When you run it it creates a on screen
Radio with dials sliders freq readout buttons etc just like your real radio on your desk. This virtual radio is controlled by your mouse...any use of the mouse controls the hardware radio.
Dx4win does not have a rig file for my FT-991. Dx4win is useless without ability to control your radio with dxcluster spots clicking etc.
I have complete control now of the FT-991....I use dx4win logging, N4PY radio control...
And fldigi for digital work all on the PC screen...all integrated and talking to each other.
I wrote up a document with screen shots and tried to post it here but you can not post things like that to this group....we need a yahoo groups so files can be posted and shared.
We need continuing support of dx4win.
Note: if you have the ability and time dx4win does have a module in it to create a rig file.
I tried very hard to do it.....to much for me. N4PY's program gave me my solution.
