Thanks for everyone's responses.  I'm glad the problem(s) seem to be
isolated to only a few users.

I've added two fixes to catch the two errors that I have been able to
diagnose.  Both errors resulted in the program doing nothing when it
is run.  I've also one new feature, to be announced when program is
ready.  I'm still waiting for one person to get back to me.  He starts
the Updater but nothing happens at all.  We've been working on-and-off
for several days trying to determine the problem.
