Let's assume you want to upload your 17 K1N QSOs to LoTW.

Go to the Log Entry Window.  Press F8 - this will clear the entire Log
Entry Window.  Type K1N into the callsign box and press Enter - this will
select only your K1N QSOs.  If it isn't already, move the Log Entry Window
to the center of the screen, so you can see the whole thing.  If you cannot
see the Entry line that has 4 boxes labelled "LoTW", "Upload Date", "Cnfm"
and "Custom Award", press F5 - perhaps several times - until you can see
that line.  If necessary, change the "LoTW" box to Y and clear the Upload
Date (if these boxes are N and some date, that means you have already
attempted to upload them to LoTW).  If you make changes, you will need to
press F10 after the change to save it.  You need to do this for every QSO
in your selection.  Now you can select LoTW and Export to LoTW in the Log
Entry Window and continue the process.  When DX4Win asks you if you want to
use the active filter for export, select yes.

If you want to upload a subset of your log QSOs to LoTW, you should use
this process.  After you press F8, you can enter a date or a band or a
callsign - whatever criteria you want in order to select the proper subset.
