I've released DX4WIN Data Updater v. 7.03.  The release notes can be

I had a "light bulb" moment and fixed the hang, once I saw what was 
going on.  I'm really sorry I didn't notice this during testing.  It was 
something I added at the last minute, thinking it would "just work". 
Obviously, it did not.

My suggestion is to uninstall any previous versions of the DX4WIN Data 
Updater and install 7.03 from scratch.  If you can not find the program 
listed in either "Programs and Features" or "Add/Remove Programs" in the 
Windows Control Panel, then just download and install 7.03 over-top of 
whatever is there.

Again, I apologize for the problems.
