It doesn't do this in my setup.  I have bands 160 and 80 unchecked in
packet tab, but still see them in Country Window.

Go to File | Awards and make sure the bands and/or modes you're
tracking are selected.  If you uncheck a band or mode in the Valid
Bands section, NONE of the QSOs made on that band and/or mode will be
counted towards any award.
