[Dx4win] DX4WIN and K3

I’m having a problem getting my K3 and DX4WIN to set the split freq. from the cluster.
Is anyone else seeing this? 
It sets the freq on the 2nd VFO and does not turn on the [ ^f ] light.
Is this a bug. I have transmitted on the DX freq a few times and sometimes nicely
and sometimes rudely told up up up.  My old radio took care of the split
100%.  Maybe I have something set wrong in the K3 menu but can’t see to find it.
