Andy,
Did you use either Jim's AD1C update utility or go to Preferences>QSO
secondary backup to use the built in secondary backup?
Both of these produce an optional backup of your log. Jim's when doing
an update and the DX4W each time you save your log. That way you will
have a complete log before a crash.
You should keep backup files in a different directory from the DX4W>Save
and hopefully on a different storage device than the computer's hard disk.
Hope you get them all back...
