[Dx4win] contest mode

When I enable contest mode, nothing happens. I don’t see a field for sequence #s and text for QSO doesn’t display in QSO notes. I tried changing to advanced user but that didn't help. Also, selection and edit group names are not available as filter selections. Am I missing something really obvious? I would like to use context mode in the future.
