Even if both are transistor keying (open collector, same polarity); you still wont have any probelms. the output that is keying wins!

I'm not Jim, but I've paralleled my keyer output and serial port
computer-generated CW for many years. Just make sure your keyer has an
isolated output, i.e., a relay (reed or solid state) rather than keying
directly via a transistor output.
