[Dx4win] Keep Alive Question

I know this has been discussed before but I have a question for the group.
Like many my Stay Alive does not seem to work. I have solved the problem by
running VE7CC ahead of DX4WIN but that seems a pity. I found with only
DX4WIN that after I loaded the TCPIP file with the Keep Alive flags on the
nodes that it still does not work. In looking in the actual file I can see
the | 3 at the end of the node listings but when I open the window to select
the node for packet cluster logon the | 3 is not shown at the end of the
node addy lines. Is this normal? Also Keep Alive does not work. I then began
using VE7CC. I exchanged notes with Jim on some of this but am still stuck
for a DX4WIN only solution as it seems a pity to run both programs for such
a small feature.
