[Dx4win] Changing Group Number within Date-Range

Good afternoon.  I have checked Jim's online help and could not find this info.  I want to change/assign a group number to all Qs between 1/25/67 and 11/28/09.  How do I accomplish this, please?  I do not know how some Qs in that range indicate a group number not created until 11/29/09 but I don't think I need to know why, only how to repair the errors.
