[Dx4win] Separate logs and merge

It is better to have group 1 for your main call, N4GG and group 2 for
the old one (WA4BTC).
Don't forget to change the default group in file>preferences>qso>group
to be the 1.
Group 0 contains all qsos by default. So dxcc totals are both calls by
default.
If you need to change a group number you can use QSO>multiple qsos
operation>change group number
If you need to see dxcc (and other awards) separate for every call you
need to make a selection (in qso window : filter>selection)
To change name in every group go to "edit group names" write the name
you want and after that press add, change, etc. (probably you should be
in expert mode you do all these -> go to file>preferences>personal and
change user level)
If you want to merge the files and you need to keep the group numbers,
names, etc you should export to dx4win 8 file (or whatever version you
have) and NOT in adif. Adif does not keep the group numbers.
So it is easy to understand that LotW can not separate the two calls
(because adif does not keep groups)
So every time you need to export to LotW, you must do a search by group
number first (F8) and after export to lotw... Of course if you know that
group 2 does not have a qso to upload there is no need to search.
I hope I replied to all of your questions. If not feel free to come back...
