[Dx4win] V8.05 PROBLEM

Also after you save your log with all the latest changes go to FILE and open
the SAVE AS window and check the date and time of your .DXL file. It should
be the same date/time as when you just did the save. IF NOT, you are saving
the log in a different location. I learned this from a mistake I made years
ago when I accidentally changed my save location to an EXT HD as a means of
back up. After that my log kept getting saved to the EXT HD and not the
C:\DX4WINxxxx file where it should have gone. After that, whenever I want to
back up my .DXL file I open the SAVE AS window, right click on my .DXL file
and then use the SEND TO function to send a copy of the file to other
devices.

To add to Art's comment:

When you try to Open a log in DX4WIN, you'll get the standard Windows open
file dialog. Click on the down-arrow (drop down) to the right of "File
name:". Select the file you REALLY want to open. When saving the log, make
sure you are saving it to DX4W805 SAVE directory.
