I don't use DX4WIN on a Windows 7 machine so I don't have experience
with the problem myself, but I've seen this issue come up a few timeson
the list and that seems to do the trick. I did find one message in the
archives where someone did a complete re-install of the program, with
the "run as administrator" the first time, and that did fix the problem.
I'm going to cc this back to the list, perhaps someone else has another
suggestion.
