Ed -- When you are operating PSK-31, if you double-click on the station
callsign in the PSK window, the correct mode is entered into the logbook
along with the callsign, and the RST field will have 3 digits.

If you enter the callsign by hand into the logbook, the mode will be
whatever the radio is using.

Subject: [Dx4win] Can't enter 3-digit RST report in log when using USB
in PSK-31

When operating PSK-31, the radio is in USB. DX4WIN correctly reads the
frequency and the mode of my Kenwood TS-850 as being in "SSB." As a
consequence of being in SSB, DX4WIN won't accept a 3-digit signal report in
the QSO window.

Is there a way to solve or work around this?

Thanks,

Ed, AA9OZ
