[Dx4win] ARRL Logbook of the World Log Processing is About 7 Days Behind

For those that have not been following it, ARRL Logbook of the World
(LoTW) log processing is about 7 days behind. This means if you
upload a log on December 7th, at the current processing rate, the QSOs
won't show up in your LoTW account until around December 14. Here is
the latest announcement posted on the LoTW web site:

"Dec 6, 2012: LoTW Log Processing is About 7 Days Behind -- For more
information on what has been happening with LoTW lately, please see
this news item. NEW... The bug that was causing the problem has been
fixed. But there is still a large queue of logs steadily being
processed. Thanks for your patience."

Here are some links you can follow to read about the problem, the fix,
and the on-going discussion:

    http://www.arrl.org/news/arrl-s-logbook-of-the-world-bug-fix-is-on-the-way
    http://www.arrl.org/news/update-to-logbook-of-the-world-bug-fix
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ARRL-LOTW/

To see when your last upload was processed, log into your account, and
in the yellow menu bar near the top, select "Find Call". In the empty
box, type in your callsign and click on "Look for call sign", and you
should see something like this:

    Last upload for AD1C: 2012-10-29 04:39:55Z

I think this is the same date that is displayed when you click on
"Your QSOs", just above the search form.

I have uploaded two files since November 25 and neither has been
processed as far as I can tell.

Just as a reminder, do NOT sign and upload your entire log each time.
This slows down the processing on the LoTW server. You only need to
upload any new QSOs since the last time you uploaded. For more
information on how to do this, and LoTW in general, please read this
application note:

    http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/lotw.html

If you think QSOs you uploaded in the past are missing (due to the
bug), try to identify and upload ONLY those missing QSOs again, not
your entire log. I happen to save all my TQ8 files in a separate
directory, you might have yours somewhere, perhaps in your DX4WIN
"save" directory.

If you are an ARRL member, you may want to write a message to your
ARRL Division Directory and let him/her know you are unhappy with the
current LoTW situation.
