I'm confused by your instructions.  I try to see each year how many
countries I work versus the previous year starting again at zero.
 
You say:
 
- Click Filter/Selection ( I assume that is "Filter")
- In that window I do not see a pop up menu that says "Add"
....... I'm lost.
 
Bob K8BL   (Still using 8.04 since it works OK for me and I see no

In QSO window Filter>Selection
In opo up window click add
replace this name with 2011
write the dates in date boxes
check date filter
and finally click  update and ok
Now you are able to select 2011 from Filter>selection and to see your dxcc 
total (Reports>dxcc)
