[Dx4win] Printing QSLs Two Different Ways?

Good morning Eric.

I assume that you have no preference for which cards you will send by Global
QSL ?

If you print QSL's; you could select the option to print a range of pages;
so only print enough to use on your cards. There may be some trial and
error with this; but estimate low, run off a print; close the print window,
then open it again and see what is left !

When you print cards, the flag is reset only for those QSO's that you have
already printed - ie if you have 2500 QSO's marked for printing, print out
a range of pages; you may end up with 1500 QSO's still marked for printing.

You could then search remaining QSO's with "Y" against the flag; and export
those QSO's as an ADIF for Global QSL. You should be able then to modify
the status un your log to shown that 1500 QSO's as sent.

What you want to do makes sense; and is doable.

Or you could just order more QSL's !!

Subject: [Dx4win] Printing QSLs Two Different Ways?

I've just gone through my entire log file and have ~2500 QSOs tagged for
QSLing (all via the bureau). If I can put 5 QSOs on one card, I'll need to
print ~1500 cards.

Unfortunately, I have only 1000 cards left.

My thought is to print out 600 or so cards and send them out via the
outgoing bureau. The remaining would go via Global QSL.

My problems are two-fold:
1. How I set DX4Win to print only the first 500 cards?
2. Global QSL wants the data in the ADIF format. How do I export the
remaining data into ADIF?

... or am I asking for trouble? Should I just bite the bullet and do it all
through GlobalQSL or get more cards and print them all locally?

Thanks,
