When you select Progress, you get a pop-up window asking for a date
range. The default is today's date (start and end). Enter your own
start and end dates for the range. This will show you how many new DXCC
entities were worked/mailed/confirmed/submitted/approved during just
that range. In other words, how did your DXCC award "progress" (to use
the verb form).
For example, I had worked all but one DXCC entity before 2007, and I
worked the last one during 2007 (BS7H). So I set the progress Start
date to 01/01/2007 and the End date to 12/31/2007. DX4WIN shows that I
worked (and confirmed/submitted/checked) only one new DXCC Mixed and
DXCC Mode entity during that time (calendar year 2007), plus a few new
band countries. DX4WIN can not tell you what those are, only how the DX
you worked during the progress range you chose (calendar year 2007)
increased your totals.
If I make the range calendar year 2008, the progress report tells me I
worked one more new entity (FJ), and if I do the same for calendar year
2010, I worked four new entities (the four new PJs).
Does this explanation help?
