If you mean F12, that only works to clear a QSO before it has been
logged.  To delete a QSO that has been logged, QSO | Delete QSO (or
control-delete).  This has not changed one IOTA in many versions.

I also see that you did not import your preferences.  Go to
http://dx4win.ad1c.us and read, from top to bottom, the application
note about upgrading.
