Slashed 0 is fine as long as it used for display purposes only.  The
Consolas font I use for DX4WIN displays the 0's with a slash.
However, writing a slash-0 to an ADIF file (which this case was) is a
no-no.  It's possible that the software that generated the ADIF file
allowed you to log a callsign and type in a slash-0 for the 0.  Either
way, not good.
