[Dx4win] Master Lookup - not simultaneous

I just upgraded to ver 8.05 and discovered the Master Lookup window doesn't function in real time as I enter a call in the QSO window.  The Master data is there if I click on the Master Lookup window but doesn't show the calls as I enter a call in the QSO window.  Is there a way to show the master calls in real time as a new call is entered in the QSO window?

PS:  Is there a way to transfer preferences from 8.04 to 8.05.  This upgrade has been surprisingly complex.
