[Dx4win] Radio control speed question

I just switched from using a FT-920 and am now running a Yaesu FT-950. 
When I switched, I went to a higher speed on the CAT serial port. Now I 
am experiencing a slow down of sorts with DX4WIN now.

The program will be unresponsive for about 1 to 1.5 seconds after 
clicking on something. It also seems to slow actions with WinKey (click 
on a Fkey button and wait).

When I run the CAT port at 4800 baud, everything works normal.

Has anyone else noticed this with the FT-950 or other radios at the 
higher cat speeds?

I have several other radio control programs, including Ham Radio Deluxe 
that work great with the FT-950 at the higher speed serial rates.

I am running WinXp and a real internal serial port card.
