[Dx4win] Changing modes in the QSO window

If I want to log a PSK QSO how do I change the mode to PSK? The mode field in the QSO window is on SSB and is grayed out. After I have logged it I can go back and edit the QSO and then change the mode but who wants to do that?

Now if I click a PSK spot in the packet window it shows up in the log window for a moment as PSK then switches to USB. Again, it is grayed out. Clearly it is tracking the mode on the rig.

Must be a setting some place to override the mode field...
