Jim/ and Group.,
Yes, you are correct...I insert a delay to allow VE7CC to load...then
BATCHRUN starts CW Skimmer... delay, then Bandmaster (100% better Bandmap
than what is in DX4WIN)...delay...then DX4WIN.
Unfortunately, DX4WIN does not connect to the last used Internet Connection.
If it did, then the entire process would kick off with one click.
Paul took us part of the way there by moving the last used Internet
Connection to the top of the .TCP list but we needed him to go a 'baby step'
further by actually automating the connect. Maybe in the future....
Additionally, most of the 'other' logging programs allow for an automatic
upload/ download of LOTW...enter your user name/ password in your
'Preferences' and off you go to LOTWland to send and retrieve your
confirmations...without going through the multiple steps of the current
version of DX4WIN...(Jim, maybe you can write a standalone app which will
interrogate our DX4WIN database and automate this?...in your spare time! Hi
Hi!)
73/ Regards...and good luck in the 10M test this weekend...if ya'll see me,
work me!

I think what people really want is a way to auto-log into the DX
cluster when it starts. I know the VE7CC software can do that, but
BATCHRUN would have to delay the starting of DX4WIN until after the
VE7CC software is up and running, before it tries to connect.
This all assumes that Paul finds a way to add auto-connect to a future
version of DX4WIN
The VE7CC software gives you a lot of filtering flexibility, more than
Paul can probably add to DX4WIN. I do agree that having to download
and install a 4MB program simply to block one spotter's call seems
excessive.
