[Dx4win] MMTTY error

MMTTY works great standalone. Something has changed in my DX4WIN, though. MMTTY was previously working o.k. Now when I try to transmit, transmit occurs with diddle, but I get the error message: 
An exception occured. 
i.e., Device already open. 
I don't know what device is referred to. I did not leave MMTTY standalone running, I closed it. 
IDEAS?
