[Dx4win] CW Keying

I find the following a bit difficult to believe - but it seems to be the case!

After many years as a DX4win user - starting with v4 but currently on v7, I decided to try CW keying from the program using LPT and the same connecting interface as used for Wintest and other programs - i.e. pin 16 for PTT and pin 17 for keying.

It didn't work with the TX seeming to be permanently keyed while the message was being sent. However, trying it on v4, v5 or v6, it works OK. A little more investigation shows that pin16 and pin17 seem to be reversed from v7 onwards - the same happens with v8.

I notice that the reflector shows many problems with CW keying but no apparent resolutions. 

Is it really the case that the pin drivers were reversed at v7 but never corrected?
