[Dx4win] Deleting Multiple QSOs

Is this something that just happened?
If you have a situation that the last time you used and saved DX4WIN all was
OK but during the current session you screwed something up then saved the
screwed up log here is one way to fix it. The other day I was entering QSL
cards I received and somehow (I don't know how) had changed the date of the
QSO to the current date and had overwritten the actual date of the QSO. If I
had not already hit ALT+S to save the current log I could have just closed
DX4WIN and when asked if I wanted to save the changes said no and started
over. But I had saved the log and now it was corrupted. I went to my DX4WIN
folder and opened the SAVE sub folder. I found my K7ACZ.DXL file and renamed
it to K7ACZa.DXL so when I reopened DX4WIN it would not open with that saved
log. I then changed the name of my K7ACZ.~XL to K7ACZ.DXL and started
DX4WIN. This put me to the way the log was the night before I started
logging my QSL received cards and screwed it up. From that point I had a
good log and started entering these received QSL cards being careful I did
not change the date of the actual QSO. I'm still unsure how I managed to
mess up these dates as I have been doing this for many years and it never
happened before. I know I had changed the QSO times by a minute or two to
match what was on the DX QSL card as I entered them but don't know how I
changed the date.

Subject: [Dx4win] Deleting Multiple QSOs
I was looking at a log I imported into DX4Win from Writelog and realized
that each QSO is in my DX4Win log twice. I checked the ADIF file generated
by WL and it's okay... one entry per QSO.
I now need to either
delete the dupes (>1000)
or
delete the entire date range and re-upload
I tried creating a filter for the date range, but that didn't work.
I then tried uploading +the ADIF file again, setting it to delete hte dupes,
but that didn't work either.
Not sure what to do next. The thought of manually deleting the >1000 entries
is not a good on :-)
Any help is appreciated.
