Do you have transceive turned off on the 7600? That can cause problems with
collisions, and is not necessary when using DX4WIN.

They're just text files.
Assuming Windows 7: Right click,  then choose "Open". Pick "Select a program
from a list of installed programs" then click OK.
Choose "Notepad", click "OK", and Bob's your Uncle.
