There is some sort of software out there that makes a virtual "Y"
connected for a COM port, so two devices can share it. I used this on
Windows 98 many years ago. I don't recall what it was called.
I currently use the microKEYER from microHAM which gives two virtual
COM ports from which you can access one radio using two different
programs, like DX4WIN and WriteLog. It's not a cheap solution, and
may be overkill for what you want, but it works very well.
