The state field is in the QSO window.  Go to this page and look at the
first image:

It's in the middle of the 2nd line, between Zone and County.

State is state, regardless of band.  Depending on your preferences
and/or Awards settings, the 6m column may or may not show in the
States window (Windows | State)
