DAN: I have a new ICOM 7600. I used the demo version of DX4WIN and
they worked well together. The rear panel USB port worked just fine.
Use 9600 baud. I can't remember if I used the ICOM 250 or 500 radio
selection, but whichever one I choose, it worked fine.
For pure logging and DX cluster programs, DX4WIN is great. If you
want maximum rig computer control, try out N4PY software. Just Google
N4PY.
It is the ultimate ICOM rig computer controller and comes with logging
programs and DX cluster, etc. programs.
